Acceptable stay with some drawbacks

limescale shower poor breakfast

The location was easy to find and the staff were lovely. The room decor was boujee and met my expectations.

I found the bathroom was not very clean. There was a lot of limescale in the shower. The shower leaked onto the floor below. Breakfast was poor with heavy, hot options, but no cereal, pastries, or fruit were available. I was like i was on a society golf day.

The executive suite was well-appointed with modern decor. It included a large walk-in shower. complimentary wifi was available and worked well. i found the grounds lovely with natural beauty.

The restaurant was understaffed during breakfast. This resulted in slow service.

i recently stayed in an alder lodge here it provided extra privacy including allocated parking the room was very clean i liked the cute patio area i had access to the receptionist assisted with my early key request without any issues too

the light from the smoke detector near the bed was quite bright at night it's a small thing but i noticed it

the reception staff were lovely and helpful the check-in process was smooth and quite professional they made me feel welcome from the moment i arrived at the hotel's entrance i safe area.

my lodge included tea and coffee making facilities ample towels were provided and the shower worked well a refrigerator was also included which i did not see listed but found helpful i found the bed comfortable.

i had breakfast at the restaurant i was impressed with the food and its quality the eggs benedict were freshly cooked and served hot a great selection was on offer and i was full after i was done.

lovely golfing getaway

great location excellent lodge relaxing spa

i found the location to be wonderful. the alder lodge was excellent. i especially appreciated the friendly staff and the relaxing spa.

the music and bass noise from the neighboring lodge continued for hours. it stopped around 9pm, but then it started up again at 1am. this impacted the experience i hoped for.

the on-site bar and restaurant offered good food. the staff were friendly and accommodating. i found the dining area clean and well-kept. overall, i had a positive experience at the hotel's dining facilities.
