Golf & Grounds

The hotel is surrounded by 190 acres of woodland and offers a 27-hole championship golf course rated among the best in the UK. The course is divided into three 9-hole loops - Pines, Beech, and Forest - each with tree-lined fairways and well-maintained greens. Guests can follow a 1.7-mile jogging trail around the golf course, with scenic views of the woodlands and a waterfall near the Pines Bar patio.

Spa & Wellness

The health club includes an 18-metre indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, and whirlpool, plus a spa with 6 treatment rooms offering ELEMIS treatments. Guests can book the ELEMIS 50-minute revitalising ritual, which includes a full-body exfoliation and massage, or choose from facials and manicures. The breakfast was good and had many options to choose from. The room had a free fridge with drinks which was a pleasant surprise. The room size was decent and the bed was comfortable for a restful night. I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The food and drinks were quite expensive.

The gym provided excellent facilities, with a range of equipment suitable for various fitness levels, including treadmills and weight machines. The swimming pool was relatively large, providing ample space for swimming and relaxation, and it seemed very well maintained .

I booked several rooms at this hotel. All rooms included clean linens. The golf facilities had good upkeep. Restaurant service from Alex was attentive.
Soundproofing in the rooms require improvement. I heard conversations from the adjacent room.
