the staff provided amazing hospitality. the private beach had a kayak and hammock (i used both!). we booked a sunset dinner by the beach for a special occasion and the service was excellent from the venue setup to the food. everyone from the receptionist to the restaurant staff was cute and helpful.

The breakfast was really good. The views were nice.

The room was dated. I was convinced to "upgrade", but a connecting room was being renovated. The lighting was terrible, with no main light button next to the door. Towels varied in quality each day, and the drains in the bathroom were super slow. The toilet couldn't even flush toilet paper in one go, haha.

the location was secluded and quiet, this suited me.

the aging hotel isnt a 5 stars as advertised. the room showed general disrepair and facilities overall looked outdated. some power outlets didnt work. there was two ceiling leaks and a aircon leak.
