Super Spa Getaway!

varied selection technogym equipment refreshing swimming pool calming atmosphere

I enjoyed the swimming pool after climbing Snowdon. It was very refreshing. The gym has new Technogym equipment, a fantastic upgrade to my workout. Breakfast had good coffee and a varied selection to choose from. The canal views created a calming atmosphere, great for relaxation.

The spa changing rooms could use some freshening up.

The Double Room Canal View provided fine scenery. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh options. The location proved perfect for exploring the nearby area. The canal view room was AMAZING!!!

The Waterside Restaurant offered an excellent experience. Food was tasty, staff were friendly and helpful, and the décor was cosy. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, it was really good.

The location by the canal was lovely. It was handy having access to the associated leisure center for a swim in the big pool. Our room was a nice size with good lighting.

The room card didn't work at check-in. I had to return to reception twice before accessing the room. The guy at check-in gave no info about the hotel, either. We were not told we were on the first floor.

The spa facilities impressed me, especially the large pool. Dinner in the restaurant offered good value. The staff provided a very high standard of service, made my Christmas nice.

The double bed comprised two single beds pushed together, which detracted slightly from the overall experience.

mixed feelings about this resort

slow check-in bathroom grime

the breakfast buffet had a good selection of foods.

check-in was slow with only one person available to handle a large group. i had to wait even though i was there first. the bathroom looked quite worn. grime and cracks were evident in the shower sealants.
