Relaxing Stay at the lodge

beautiful settingexcellent lunchanother staylimited availability
We wanted to relax and that is what happened. The setting was beautiful, with the sound of birds all day. We relaxed in the hot tub one afternoon, it was a great experience. I even had a Sunday lunch at the bistro. I plan to book another stay next year. It was awesome.
the pool had limited availability. The schedule included activities and private lessons, which restricted access. core hours were already restricted. This made it difficult to plan pool visits.
Facilities
9/10
The swimming pool offers ample space, it is kept very clean, and allows plenty of room to relax. Bowling and games were nice. The pool, sauna and steam room created an enjoyable experience for us.
Location
10/10
The lodge has fabulous views, even from the bed, offering peace and serenity. The quiet balcony was a plus, because it was not overlooked, which gave us privacy. It was great to be so close to local attractions.
Service
10/10
All the staff members were friendly and helpful, especially Linda at reception who greeted us, she was lovely and helpful. I had a deep tissue massage at the spa and would definitely recommend it. The manager kindly arranged for a bottle of Prosecco.

A Mostly Relaxing Getaway

quiet balconytwo-car parkinguseful dishwasherlimited availabilitypower outageabsent apology
I enjoyed the quiet balcony. It was not overlooked. The parking area accommodated two cars easily. The two-bedroom house had everything we needed including a dishwasher. the location WAS GREAT.
The pool had limited availability. The bar and facilities couldn't serve food or drinks one night after a power outage. A complimentary drink wasn't offered as an apology. VERY disappointing.

the lodge itself was spacious and spotlessly clean. the open-plan living area allowed in plenty of natural light. the private hot tub was perfectly positioned, offering a peaceful experience. i found the location very tranquil, yet close enough to local attractions and walking trails.
i noticed a limited selection of items in the on-site shop, also it was quite expensive.
Rooms

the three-bedroom lodge featured comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. bedding was looked super fresh. i found the space generous, really accomodating family needs with ease, especially with the hot tub providing a relaxing retreat.

Reasonable Stay

spacious accommodationoutdoor seatingnice facilitylimited availabilitypool closurepower outage
I stayed in the accommodation with my family. It was spacious, and we found a washing machine. We also had decking with outdoor seating. The entertainment facility was very nice. The menu was a little limited, but was still very nice.
I booked this resort based on having access to the pool and spa. the pool was closed on one of the days, and there was limited availability on the Sunday. The bar and facilities were unable to serve food or drinks for the rest of the night after a power outage.
