I appreciated prompt service from every staff member. They are very attentive! Our room was immaculate. The housekeeping service kept everything super clean. The gardens are beautiful and well-kept, and I enjoyed them every day! The breakfast had an amazing variety of options. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

The wait times for elevators during peak hours could sometimes be a little long, but it wasn't too bad.

The room felt a bit dated (it was a 'beautiful double room sea view garden wing,' supposedly). some of the furniture showed wear and tear, and the bathroom fixtures looked old. also, the service at the spice market cafe was slow during peak hours. Getting a coffee refill seemed impossible. the pool area was crowded.

my wife and i book the junior suite king rasa wing. the room was excellent with goodies for our wedding anniversary like wine and cake. breakfast was fantastic, we try the buffet, ala carte, and ferringhi grill. poolside cocktails were great!

the beach is nonexistent because repairs had to occur from a recent storm. there are limited opportunities to swim in the ocean because of pollution issues. i think an additional pool could offset this, based on the hotel's size.
