really good experience , slight hiccups
efficient transportation helpful butler excellent humor great location
the location was great. i easily accessed multiple restaurants. transportation via abras throughout the complex was frequent and efficient. the butler , whose name i can't remember , displayed a fantastic sense of humor and was helpful. i was disappointed when he was replaced by a string of less attentive butlers.
the beach service was occasionally slow. i often had to ask for items or for assistance with opening the parasol. the manager provided limited assistance when i raised these issues. i felt the attempts to resolve it were futile.

housekeeping maintained high standards. breakfast offered varied options , however , service at the beach needed improvement. temporary butlers after the initial one were not as attentive , which impacted the overall experience.

arboretum's standards have changed. its buffet now features a more casual atmosphere , which i did not find appetizing. the high cost of water , around 10gbp , seems unreasonable for a hotel of this caliber.

fabulous shower well-planned layout comfy bed
The room had a fabulous shower and bath area! the layout was really well planned. the bed was comfy and huge. Also there was a nice sitting area. peacocks and peahens roamed around the outdoor space.

the abra boats remain a favorite it is magical gliding through the water i thank the butler service in the villas and through the e-butler app for being efficient i really can't stress enough how amazing this hotel is it keeps getting better

the restaurants offer various cuisines like seafood, middle eastern, and international the pierchic restaurant stands out with its seafood and views al nafoorah is known for authentic middle eastern dishes the hide offers a modern grill experience.

serene and luxurious villas

The room featured a well-designed shower and bath area. i found the water pressure very adequate! the bed was large and comfortable with a nice sitting area. The outdoor area saw visits from peacocks. gondolas offered relaxing transport around the resort. the golf carts were better for specific destinations. the housekeeping team was very responsive in replenishing supplies.
Beach service experienced delays. Often, i had to ask for items or help with opening the parasol, especially to avoid the intense july sun. the arboretum buffet has shifted from a high-quality a la carte standard to something more casual and smaller. water charged at around 10gbp seemed inappropriate for this level of hotel.

Really good Service and Beautiful Setting
great quality boat transportation beautiful architecture
The breakfast buffet offered numerous options and great quality. Boat transportation between buildings and to different areas was easily arranged through the e-butler service. Traditional-style buildings feature beautiful architecture with very nice internal finishings throughout the complex.
The villa sundowner hours have changed to an earlier time , so it was inconvenient.

The room included a high-end Dyson Supersonic(TM) hair dryer. The spacious and comfortable villa offered a luxurious bathroom. Courtyards feature a fountain , allowing social gatherings with other guests.

Wonderful Experience at the Villas
comfortable bed outdoor area golf cart well maintained ground
The shower and bath area had a good layout. Water pressure was great. The bed was large and comfortable. I saw peacocks and peahens wandering past the outdoor area. Golf carts made getting around easy. The grounds were well maintained. The butler assisted with car and flight issues.
The manager was not helpful in resolving the issues and did not offer any goodwill gestures. I tried my best to resolve the problems. Other reviews mention similar experiences.

Mixed feelings about my stay
rude butlers parasol issues
The butler service started off well. Our first butler, I CANNOT remember his name, had a fantastic sense of humour. He were pretty good. Then, he was replaced by a string of temporary butlers who were verging on rude at times. Beach service also had issues. Frequently I had to chase for items. I also had to ask for the parasol to be opened. It was frustrating.
