clean sheets traditional hotel build afternoon tea
i found the sheets and towels beautifully clean. lots of traditional aspects are visible in the hotel build. afternoon tea overlooking the lake was also a highlight.. plus there was a boat trip on the lake.
the staff could benefit from further training to elevate the resort experience.

the pool was acceptable.
the staff seemed undertrained and the boat ride broke down (pretty annoying, i have to say). they also tried to reschedule during a wedding party, so i had to come back later.

amazing stay!
luxurious room fine garden free activity
the rooms were large, comfortable, and luxurious!!! they really thought about every little detail to spoil guests! the gardens were fine, and the staff was helpful and professional. i especially enjoyed the variety of free activities.
prior to my stay, responses to my questions were poor.

Underwhelming stay, some issues
untrained staff inconvenient boat ride
The pool was clean and large enough for a lot of people.
There was NO bar, which I found VERY disappointing. The staff seemed undertrained. They didn't always know the answers to basic questions. I booked a boat ride, but it broke down and they rescheduled it at the same time as a wedding party. I was told to come back later, frustrating.

fun lagoon sunset cruise
The hotel includes a fun lagoon with bamboo rides. A sunset boat cruise is available along the river. The location offers a beautiful pool, yoga, and gym. A spa and hairdressers provide additional relaxation options.
The staff seemed not well trained. This issue affected the overall experience at the hotel. Training improvements should elevate the guest experience.

faulty equipment mosquito presence
the meals were fantastic with many choices and variety from day to day. the staff in the restaurant helped often. they provided information about dishes and customs.
I found the gym to be not well-kept and some of the equipment was faulty. the treadmill screen didn't work and one of the bikes was missing a pedal. also, i noticed mosquitoes in the traditional dance shows every night. It was unpleasant.
