Mixed Feelings About My Stay

The gym was adequately equipped.
My room was quite cold, and the thermostat did not seem to work. I contacted reception twice about this issue. A portable heater was eventually delivered, but this did not fully resolve the discomfort. the television had no working channels, leaving me without entertainment .

The Wilfred's restaurant provided excellent food.
I found the pool facilities not located on site a problem, as towels and locker access required additional payment, and the hotel failed to communicate this beforehand. The pool was busy with a film on the jacuzzi surface.

the pool is in a separate building. it was like a local leisure pool. the pool was cold and full of kids. there was cheap handsoap in the dispensers, not nice shampoo.

i enjoyed the nicely decorated quality furnishings. access to all facilities including car park was good. wilfred's restaurant was really good with very nice food. breakfast was also excellent with locally sourced products and great coffee.
the lack of directional signs in all areas was noticeable, a detail that could be easily fixed.

the food was really good at wilfred's restaurant, and staff were attentive. the facials i had were very nice.
i found there was no seated area with a mirror, so i had to do my hair and makeup on the floor. i tried to turn the heating up, but the thermostat wouldn't move. i couldn't get the tv to work either.
