I WAS expecting more from this hotel. the lack of attention to detail was disappointing. the spa access cost extra, it REALLY annoyed me. also, the rooftop restaurant had a cat walking around. This was completely unacceptable, especially because i have allergies. it felt unsanitary and ruined the dining experience. they didn't seem to care!

I was impressed with the variety of food offered during breakfasts. They have an amazing range! The hotel provided high-quality live music in the bar each evening. The staff at this place were very kind! I really appreciated their friendliness and helpfulness.
The lighting was a bit too dark for my taste. The halls were not very bright.

The hotel is huge, it has so many rooms. it still offers a personal feel. the rooftop pool is wonderful, it provides many spots for sitting and reading. the staff surprised my wife on her birthday with champagne and rose petals, a complete joy. i also got to use the hotel amenities after checking out. That was really enjoyable.
honestly, i didn't see any real downsides, the hotel was very nice.

the staff welcomed us warmly. there was a surprise dessert at the alambique restaurant because it was my wife's birthday. i appreciated being able to use the hotel amenities after checkout on our last day.
premium areas had some confusion. i didn't realize that using the spa pool, jacuzzi, steam room or sauna required paying an extra premium rate. building works closed access to a premium area, i was not told about it.
