The breakfast had a large variety. I noticed Indian and Sri Lankan chefs. The hotel Manager gave recommendations, and this was appreciated. Staff in the breakfast area were quick and efficient in clearing plates.

The air conditioning unit WAS loud. I also found it difficult to control. Getting out of the bathtub felt unsafe. THERE was no separate shower.

the location was amazing. it was accessible from multiple roads. plus, there was a dedicated entrance to royal garden shopping mall, a definite convenience. the gardens and pool area were beautiful. maintained with such care, i could unwind.

i did find that the room i booked was a little tired. it felt somewhat dated and not quite the value for money i anticipated, considering the competitive market. this meant a less excellent experience.

The staff were friendly and efficient. they handled my requests with care. this contributed positively to my stay. There were always smiling faces willing to assist, which i found very helpful.

I booked a Beautiful Sea View Room, and the sea view was nice. Lots of parasailings flew in the sky. The breakfast buffet is huge, with a long duration and high quality.

The service was a bit off. I put the "gone fishing" sign (yes, that is what they call it) on my door when I left for a tour, and my room wasn't cleaned upon my return. This is a supposed 5-star hotel, so I did expect my room to be refreshed daily without me having to call. The room was ok otherwise (nothing to write home about!).

The location is quite good. It is close to shops and restaurants.

I was disappointed with the state of the room. The air conditioning unit was excessively loud and difficult to adjust. Entering and exiting the bathtub, which doubled as a shower, felt unsafe due to the absence of a separate shower area. The rooms really need refurbishment to meet modern expectations.

Honestly, i was a bit let down. i booked a room with a walk-in shower, but the shower was over the bath. it needed a ladder to get in! i was moved to a room for wheelchair-bound guests. It was ridiculous. if you don't have walk-in showers, do not advertise them.
