magnificent viewfriendly staffunacknowledged requests
our premiere family seaview room provided a magnificent view of the sea. the hotel staff impressed me with their friendliness. the amenities were great, catering to every need. the transportation service made getting around easy (it was very relaxing).
i also found that addressing a specific issue with a planned wedding party boat tour was not handled as well as i would have expected. i felt that my requests for a supervisor were not acknowledged.

Inconsistent Service and Minor Issues

The breakfast buffet had diverse options. It was a highlight of the stay.
I was disappointed by some service lapses. The cleaning staff repeatedly rang our room unnecessarily after it had been cleaned. I also found a cockroach in the bar area, unacceptable for this class of hotel.

Really good stay with lovely service

the staff showed very nice kindness and anticipated every need. i particularly appreciated the well-kept architecture and landscaping that created a real jungle atmosphere. i would come back anytime (and plan to!).
the speedboat transfer involved climbing onto a rocking boat with aged, poorly maintained steps. carrying my baby made this frightening and unsafe. i believe better safety measures are necessary for such transfers.
