a balanced view

sunset views helpful service old facilities long walk

the hotel boasts a great beach. it is very gentle allowing children to safely ride the waves (a definite plus for families). the sunset views are fine turning the entire sky red and purple. the service was commendable, especially when our flight was disrupted and we arrived early. sylvianna at the front desk found a room for us to rest in, which i found helpful.

It took about eight minutes on foot.

the pool bar had a great selection of drinks and tasty meals. the bus provided transportation to town, convenient and useful. the sunset views each evening were lovely! i found the walk through the jungle refreshing and pleasant.

the check-in process experienced some delays, causing a slight wait.

I appreciated that my room was near the breakfast area and pools. there was easy access. The pathways were clearly marked. the hotel offered a convenient shuttle to a nearby golf course, and i used this service. there was a wide variety of food offered. I really appreciated it.

the wait times at the pool bar felt a bit long.

One serves japanese cuisine and another offers a malaysian buffet. i think those are very good options.

the concierge helped me book a taxi to explore local attractions, and he provided useful maps. staff at the front desk were always available to answer questions, and the housekeeping was consistent, with fresh towels and toiletries provided daily. i really appreciated that.

The breakfast buffet offered a huge variety. I especially enjoyed the local Sabah Coffee. The staff were always friendly and ready to help, providing great service. My mother had a wonderful 60th birthday celebration here! The staff surprised us with complimentary Hi-Tea when I mentioned a small comfort issue.
