the staff were very helpful with local advice. the pools were great.
I was really disappointed by the room. it was very dated and had marks all over the floor. It wasn't what i expected for the money. the shower temperature kept changing between hot and cold. the advertised array of food options were mostly closed at 8pm. we asked for more drinking water at 9:45pm, but reception said the kitchen was closed.

The breakfast service was inconsistent. It often lacked staff to prepare egg dishes or pho. Getting their attention required some effort. My room had a disappointing issue. I found that there might be lizards in the room (i think this should be mentioned in the hotel description).

The air conditioner barely cooled the room. it cut out every time i left the room, requiring 15 minutes to recool upon return! food at the restaurant was not 5 star quality. breakfast was decent once the coffee heated. overall, i don't think i got a true five-star experience at this resort.

The staff welcomed us SO warmly. They explained breakfast details, shuttle services, and the on-site dining options. We received a voucher for a complimentary meal. The breakfast offered a WIDE choice, with cooked-to-order omelets and eggs. The shuttle service to town and the private beach worked GREAT.
The shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold. I did not expect this from a hotel of this standard.
