clean beach pool loungers easy access

The swimming pool was close to the beach! This made going between the two very easy. The pool had plenty of loungers . The beach was also clean and suitable for swimming.

The gym had limited equipment. It really needs an upgrade.

The staff was attentive, and the service was prompt. i found the beach clean and the location ideal. the food selection had good variety. I especially liked the local dishes. the pool was large and well kept!

Really good Beachfront Getaway

beautiful beach warm sea desireable spot friendly attendant

The hotel sits directly on a beautiful beach, I noted. The sea was wonderfully warm (the warmest I have ever felt!). I appreciated Rupan, the pool attendant. He ensured everyone got the spots they desired each day.

The only minor issue was the distance from Colombo airport. The taxi ride took about five and a half hours, I found.

mixed feelings about this place

safety hazard poor cleanliness

the location was fine and easily accessible to the beach.

The room was not very clean, especially considering the price (i expect better for what they charge). the stairs in the room were a safety hazard. I actually fell and hurt myself pretty badly. the staff needs more training, especially the managers, on how to handle guest issues.

Excellent Beachfront Hotel Experience

friendly staff beachfront location direct access

The hotel staff proved friendly and helpful, which enhanced the entire experience. The pool's beachfront location is fine. I enjoyed direct beach access from my room, and also attended the yoga sessions each morning (what a great way to start the day!).

The Wi-Fi was available only in public areas. This was not ideal given the room rate, and I hope they extend coverage to guest rooms soon.
