slow check-in obstructed view
the check-in process was not smooth. i had to wait a while even with the supposed 'priority' status i had. later i find out i got a room on a lower floor than i expected. my supposed ocean view was partially blocked. so much for a nice start to my vacation. i could see the ocean, yes, but also a lot of roof.

nice stay
excellent service cleaning staff well-kept beach timely fashion
I found the beach top notch. It was well maintained. bar service was also excellent. the staff responded to my needs promptly. cleaning staff was thorough, and cleanliness prevailed throughout the entire hotel, rooms, lobby, restaurants, beach, and common areas.
The air conditioning in my room was not optimal. It mostly stayed at 24 c.

The pools were decently warm, made swimming more enjoyable. it was great to have two beachfront restaurants. the location provided easy access to transport. The bus stop outside was convenient, and the ferry terminal was a short walk away.

the staff members across the entire resort were friendly and professional. they were always available and ready to help. i really appreciated that they had pastries in the lobby at 5 am for early departures, which showed thoughtfulness and care.

unheated pool bad weather
The beach was beautiful and the food was delicious. I guess they got something right.
The pool was supposed to be heated. It definitely wasn't. also, the weather was only fair, as if they control that. i'm not sure what i paid for besides disappointment. twice.

room overcharge missing receipt
I faced an overcharge for my room , the amount charged to my card post-departure did not align with the contract I signed at check-in. I requested a receipt at check out , I was told it would be emailed , but I have yet to receive it. A lifeguard followed my companions and me from the beach to the pool , he implied we did not appear to be guests and inquired about our room number.

wonderful beach and excellent service
beautiful building really good breakfast polite staff
the building is beautiful and well maintained, the beach access is great. the breakfast in the morning is really good. the staff are very polite and helpful. the location puts it next to several shopping and food destinations. there is also an individual beach bar that is wonderful. i loved the location and the hotel.
i booked to receive spa treatment after a long flight. they announced opening times in the spa were from 8am-8pm. when i called to book at 6:30 pm, they said it was closed. the receptionist told me they changed the spa hours two weeks ago but apparently they are too lazy to update their menu or inform customers.

the room has two queen beds and a comfortable seating area. the bathroom features premium toiletries. there is also a spacious balcony overlooking the ocean offering wonderful views of the sea and the pool area. the room decor included local art.
