room upgrade spa facilities small shower area inaccurate photos
i received a generous room upgrade upon my arrival. the room was large and clean, it was very quiet too. breakfast offered lots of options and was delicious. the spa facilities were perfect, i really enjoyed them.
there wasn't a bathtub, just a small shower area. this was a bit disappointing.

limited options slow service
The hotel breakfast did not impress me. The options seemed very limited and some items were often out of stock and I had to wait for long time for replacements. the room service was quite slow. One evening I waited over an hour for a simple order of a sandwich. The slow service was frustrating after a tiring day.

the location was convenient to the train station. it made arrival and departure easier.
the room lacked proper amenities. there was no shampoo available. the coffee provided used a machine only, and the quality suffered.

wide variety friendly staff
The breakfast had a wide variety of options. The staff was very friendly. the hotel also offers a pick-up service from the train station. This service was convenient.

frosty reception annoyed staff
the location was decent enough. it was a five-minute walk from the train station, so that's manageable, i guess.
the staff seemed determined to ruin my stay. i got a frosty reception from the shuttle driver. at check-in, i was essentially told to come back later at 3pm. the room was freezing, and when i called about it, the guy who came to 'fix' it seemed annoyed and argued that everything was 'automatic'. he found the balcony door ajar, rolled his eyes, and said it was 'impossible' that we hadn't opened it. such a charmer.
