quiet sanctuary near town
helpful staff natural immersion fine scenery
i found the staff helpful and always smiling. the resort immerses you in nature. i appreciated the quietness, the views, and the architecture. the scenery from the room was fine and i valued the traditional design.
the air conditioning in the room was not strong enough, it did not adequately cool the space. the room seemed to need a higher capacity unit. i found this inconvenient, especially during the warmer parts of the day.

The resort is a short scooter ride from town. It takes only minutes. the location has quietness because it is away from the busy main area. this is convenient for access to town without the noise.

musty smell automatic air conditioning
the setting overlooking the river valley was acceptable.
i found that our room had a strong musty smell as soon as i opened the door. the air conditioning shuts off automatically when the keycard is removed, so the room was always warm and smelled damp when i returned. this was quite OFF-PUTTING.

excellent stay, minor points
spacious room helpful staff useful shuttle
i found the room spacious with enough space. the hotel staff was helpful and arranged a tour for us. a complimentary shuttle to center proved really useful.
I must mention a small issue. The minibar fridge did not cool drinks effectively.
