The Shelborne South Beach has a lot to offer with its beautiful pool area and attentive staff at the bar, making for a wonderful atmosphere. However, my experience with the front desk staff left much to be desired; they could use some improvement in communication and attitude. While the hotel has potential, especially with its style and amenities, my room was smaller than expected and not particularly clean, which was disappointing given the cost.
