SAMARI SPA RESORT, Banos (Tungurahua)

I indulged in the 'Purificación de la Montaña' treatment, lasting two and a half hours of pure bliss. The experience was really good, and the staff made sure I felt completely pampered. One of the highlights was the steam cabinets, which are unique and rare in the U.S. Overall, it was a fantastic spa experience that left me completely relaxed.

I had several meals at the resort's restaurant and enjoyed every one. The dishes were delicious, and I especially loved the 'seco de chivo,' a flavorful goat stew. The attentive service truly enhanced the dining experience, making each meal a pleasure.

The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated with stone walls and wooden beams, giving it an old-world charm. It felt luxurious and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The layout was family-friendly, and I loved the attention to detail in the decor.

While the bathroom had a uniquely medieval style, the amenities were good. I appreciated the fluffy bathrobes provided and the overall cleanliness of the bathroom. The only minor issue was the hot water taking a while to warm up, but overall, I found it to be a cozy and inviting space.
