The hotel is surrounded by lush jungle, a little north of the main town area. the accommodation is fine. I loved the rooms and found them comfy. the restaurant offered some really nice food, and i found the chef to be quite good. the pool was fantastic, with amazing views and a relaxing atmosphere. i especially enjoyed the simple gym equipment with its amazing view. It was a plus.

i noticed some damp smell upon entering the room from the unfinished wood decorations.

the staff was cute. breakfast was delicious each morning. our room was spacious! it was spotlessly clean. the pool had plenty of space for everyone. it included a perfect forest backdrop. the resort shuttle runs into town every couple of hours. reception arranges a pick-up from the lower hotel. the on-site spa allowed extra relaxation. housekeeping was perfect. sheets were freshly steamed every day.

the advertised gym does not exist. it is just one treadmill with chairs.
