Situated nearly a 10-minute drive from the Crowley Lake, the hotel also gives access to such sports venues as the Mammoth Ice Rink, which is nearly a 15-minute drive away. The McLeod Lake is 2.5 km from the Juniper Springs Resort Mammoth Lakes, while Mammoth Yosemite airport is 15 km from it.

The eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is just a short 30-minute drive from Mammoth, taking Highway 395 to Highway 120 (Tioga Road). The journey to Yosemite Valley will take about 2 hours. Note that Highway 120 is open seasonally during the summer months and may close temporarily due to weather conditions.
