GRAND MERCURE YATSUGATAKE RESORT & SPA, Hokuto (Yamanashi)

I had my first Onsen experience here, and it was simply wonderful! The hot spring area was beautifully maintained with everything well-prepared for a relaxing soak. I loved indulging in the warm waters, especially during the morning hours when it felt extra special. It was revitalizing and a highlight of my stay.

The breakfast buffet was impressive, featuring a wide variety of dishes. As someone who sometimes misses traditional home-cooked meals, I appreciated the selection available. Although nothing stood out as extraordinary, there was enough to satisfy everyone's tastes, ensuring that no one leaves hungry.

The kids' playground was a fantastic feature of this hotel! My children had a blast playing in the spacious area, which kept them entertained while we relaxed a bit. The wooden structures gave it a cozy feel, and I felt comfortable letting them run around and explore. It was a perfect way for them to burn off some energy!

Our room was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable environment to retreat to after a day of exploring. We had a classic room with good amenities that catered to our needs. It made our stay enjoyable, allowing us to unwind and relax in a pleasant setting.
