wood furniture warm greeting varied breakfast festive touch

the heavy wood furniture created an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. the staff greeted me with warmth, attending to my needs. i savored the rich and varied breakfast each morning. the christmas decorations added to the hotel's charm , a festive touch i appreciated.

the pool area included towels on the loungers , a nice detail. the gym featured equipment for varied workouts, like treadmills and stationary bikes, it was very convenient. the location provided easy access to local attractions.

inflated costs high spa prices

The location was acceptable. A short tuk-tuk ride got me to Angkor Wat.

The inflated costs soured my experience. I paid $8 for a bottle of water at the pool bar. Spa prices were far too high (the massage wasn't worth the cost).

uninspiring view air conditioning system

The breakfast had many choices ranging from local cuisine to western favorites.

My room, a Landmark King Room, faced a rather uninspiring view of the parking area. Housekeeping staff was to be understaffed. Turndown service was erratic. The air conditioning system proved inadequate. Adjusting the temperature was difficult and the unit cycled loudly all night, disrupting my sleep.
